For UK pensioners only with a National Bus pass, all buses are free after 09.30, Mon-Fri, (Mon. – Thu. until 31st May 2024).Sat./Sun. no restrictions.

Peak and Off Peak times.

Peak time. Mon.- Fri. 06.30 to 09.30 and 1600 to 1900,(the later time does not apply if travelling within Zones 2 – 6, or from these into Zone 1.

Off Peak Times. All day Sat. and Sun.

Tube, DLR, London Overground and Elizabeth line fares.

  • Most adult pay as you go fares will be frozen
  • The adult peak pay as you go fare for a journey in Zone 1 will be frozen at £2.90 ($£.60 €3.30)
  • The adult off-peak pay as you go fare for a journey in Zone 1 will be frozen at £2.80 ($3.50 €3.20)
  • The adult off-peak pay as you go fare in a single zone (not Zone 1) will be frozen at £2.00 ($2.30 €2.10)
  • Cash fares, also known as paper single tickets, for Zones 1-6 will be frozen at £7.00 ($8.60 €7.90) where TfL fares apply. Where National Rail fares apply, they’ll increase overall by 4.9%

What is the Fare Capping on London Transport?

Bus and tram fares

  • The adult pay as you go fare will be frozen at £1.75 ($2.25 €2.05)
  • With our Hopper fare, you can still make unlimited bus and tram journeys within one hour of first touching in for £1.75 ($2.25 €2.05)
  • The daily cap will be frozen at £5.25 ($6.75 €6.20)

Travelcards

As a general rule a Travelcard is more expensive than an Oyster card or Contactless payment card. The exception is if you make 3 or more journeys for 6 days or more within a 7 day period. In this case a 7 day Travelcard works out cheaper than an Oyster or Contactless card.

Frozen IFS Cloud Cable Car prices.

The one-way adult fare on the cable car will remain frozen at £7.00. The child fare will remain at half the adult fare, as does the Freedom Pass fare.

A round trip on the IFS Cloud Cable Car is double the price of a one-way trip.
